Yeah but I read that waiting to drill your holes until after full colonization is risky. With no holes, all of the co2 gets trapped in the monotub. And that can cause contams. The only reason I kinda want to drill holes after is because I want the bottom of my holes to be exactly where the substrate is. I don't want to drill them, then have my substrate going over the holes or being inches below them.

It will be OK if your holes are not EXACTLY at the substrate level.
