An alternative for a tent chamber?

So I was thinking of getting a Pressure cooker and start doing grains after my first grow. I'm kind of tight on money and am kind of splurging money together to buy pressure cooker and I wanted to use this tek http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/4576865/fpart/1/vc/1. But my question was, is there a cheaper alternative for the tent chamber setup? Do you even need one? Any help would be appreciated!!! Peace, Alex

Most of that seems really sketchy to me, even stupid at some points. An sgfc would work, or a mono tub.

one shroom, two shroom, green shroom ... wait how did that get there?

It might just be that it holds more and you can control humidity better. So you think the mono tub would be good for grains? Sorry, I'm like really new to this.

Right now I do grains in an sgfc spawned to coir/vermiculite. It works just fine no real need to change from that.

If you are planning on this being your first grow, and are wanting to do bulk (good on you! the notion that noobs should start with pf is super outdated) I would suggest doing a montub, Its really inexpensive and you can have 4 of them stacked at a time if you'd like. They regulate humidity a lot better and easier than a tent and can probably grow just as much. Also they are just as "set and forget" as a tent. IF you are determined to use a tent I would search "Martha Tek" but replace the martha in the tek with this: http://www.amazon.com/Gardman-R687-4-Tier-Mini-Greenhouse/dp/B000NCTGQE
you can find it for $20 in various places on the internet.

Monotubs can be done for dirt cheap .. and are very low key .....
you might add a casing layer to your colonized bulk substrate ... until you get your tub dialed in (FAE).
then when you get conditions dialed in, you can go uncased on the bulk substrate and even set-and-forget.
good luck. keep reading.
