Rye grain jars Pics

I inoculated some of my first rye grain jars a couple weeks ago. Gave them a shake about 3 days ago. I was wondering how they look? I'm also only planning on using them for g2g with some larger rye grain jars. I was told to give them a good shake about 24hrs before I plan on doing the g2g. I just started researching g2g as this was not something I planned to do in the beginning. Any good tek reccomendations?
Here they were couple mins after shake...

Here they are now...

No reason to shake at 100% then let them recolonize. You're damaging the mycelium. You should be doing your G2G in a SAB, at least. Flowhoods are better. www.mushroomvideos.com has a good little tutorial on G2Gs.
You should shake your master spawn jar before sterile procedure, as to not disturb the air before you enter your SAB. I turn off the heat/ac, shake the jar, then Oust my clean room, seal the room, shower, etc. Enter clean room & wipe down & clean everything. I've done plenty of G2Gs in my SAB w/out a problem.

I'm not worried about my sterility technique too much. Always use glovebox, gloves, cap, and even a sterile gown out of the ER. I've watched a couple vids, read a few teks and have the basic idea down on how to do it. My real questions were... 1) when/if I should shake jar(thanks guys) 2) If jars should be 100% colonized when I do it 3)How much spawn I should use per quart jar as I've heard many conflicting opinions and 4) How my jars are looking. Thanks again.

2 - yes, no need for consolidation when G2Ging or spawning to bulk.
3 - 1 quart jar can be G2Ged to 12 quarts, somewhat maximum.
4 - Looks like weak mycelium growth to me. All my jars turn out full white. You can't see the grains through it.

Just before spawning (rye & WBS jars)

Hey Transcending Life, what do you use to seal the holes in your mason jar lids?
And I'd agree, the colonization in the grain jars does not look optimal...

It's almost been about 9 days since the jars were knocked up, shook them once at about 50% and the myc looked a lot denser at that point than it does now. They colonize so much faster than brf/verm. I'm thinking I should wait another day or two before I do g2g. Going to soak the rye for 24hrs first because that's what worked for me last time.
