    #15913968 - 03/07/12 01:16 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

Hello I was wondering why after I pressure cooked my rye seeds was there a white almost goo left at the bottom of the jars?

You shouldn't have that in the jar. Sounds like you messed up somewhere.
Pictures would really help or, at least, describing how you prepped the grains.

Are there a lot of burst kernels? How did you process the rye exactly? PC times, etc?

That always happened to me when I had too much moisture content in the bottom of my jars. However im not sure if that was the cause. You should start over anyways because that part will not colonize properly and is imposible to break up by shaking the jars also it is more than likely going to contaminate in that spot.
