Jars are fruiting-colonization not 100%

Hello all,
Long time lurker. I have started my first grow! I started 10 B+ jars using the PF Tek. I am running into some problems/questions and would love some help. I have 10 jars colonizing at the moment. I am three weeks in, and most are looking good. I have about 7 that are 50%-75% colonized, and three that are very very close. My problem is that I see pinning in most, and the three that are close have mushrooms growing inside. I have done some reading about why this may have happened, and learned some stuff for next time. What should I do now?
I know that I can toss the three in the refrigirator to slow them down. Is that a good idea at this time? My plan was to birth them all at the same time, and fruit them. I also know that it can be bad to birth when not 100% as you risk contams.
My first instinct would be to leave them alone until all are complete, and just birth them. However, I only have 2 that reached full colonization today. That puts me at at least 3/13. Will the ones that are further along be too far?
This picture is the jar that has the worst fruiting. And another pic to show how much growth is still needed. Any recommendations would be amazing. Thanks all!

leave them in there until they are done. once fully colonized dunk( try to keep the fruit bodies out of the water) you can roll but dont roll the fruits. did you handle your jars a lot? it often messes up the verm layer and the fresh air causes pinning.

Don't hold me to this but I have heard a lot of people say that in vitro pinning when its not fully colonized is a sign that there may be a bacterial infection. Keep at it and let us know what you find!

I'd say put them in the dark and leave them in the dark for a few days without exposing any light to them. If you put them in the fridge it wont slow it down, it will stall the mushrooms from groing and also the myc so that would be pointless. This is just a minor problem. No need to worry to much about it. but definitely leave them in the dark for like three days or more and leave them alone. the more you check them, the more the light will tell the pins to grow. plus you want your jars to fully colonize so let them be for a wile in the dark and alow the myc to grow throughout the jars.Checking on them will just slow you progress. when fully colonized, you can birth them.

In the guide I am using the dunk portion says to submerge the cakes after birthing overnight. Is this not possible with the fruit bodies? One thread I read said to remove the fruit bodies after birth and discard. After dunk and roll new fruit bodies will form. Thoughts?
I handled them A LOT. I now see the error in my ways, but would do it again if I had the choice. Watching mycelium grow is amazing.

Is this something I would be able to see? I feel like I caused the pinning due to moving them around and peeking too much. I have not noticed anything visually to worry me. No odor either.

This sounds good to me. I will get them in the dark for at least three days. They are in a cubbord with the doors left open up to this point. Minimal light. Do I have to worry about air exchange with the doors closed?
Is there a solid answer on flipping the jars to speed things up? I see different answers everywhere I look. Thank you for the help everyone. This community is great!

if your jars are pinning without full colonization, makes no sense to me...you must have full colonization, then consolidation, then pinning...in that order...an explanation could be that they weren't mixed thoroughly...must not be anymore nutrient in the jar or its done trying to get to it

no dont flip. flipping disrupts the verm more and will just make the mushies grow and colonization will stall. putting them in the dark may be an option i however would just leave them where they are. 4-5 more days and they will probably finish, then birth them. those pins may be in the verm and could fall off easily but dont "discard them" they are still mushies.

No actually they were suppose to be treasure coast, although I thought they would be bigger than they turned out to be. I just like those pics cause the veils are so predominant in them. Turned out to be some good boomers though!!!

Oh nice. They look very similar to the Mazatepec's that I just grew. Happy shrooming!
