Innoculating WBS with Spores
    #15910343 - 03/06/12 06:11 PM (12 years, 10 months ago)

I am going to make my own spore syringes soon and use them to inoculate some WBS jars so that I can finally move into the wonderful world of monotubbing! I see people talk a lot about using LCs but have you guys had success with just using regular old spore syringes? Also if an LC is just WAY more beneficial can someone link me to a good LC Tek that doesnt require a microwave? You own an oven and a toaster and you send your roommate out for a microwave and he comes back with a toaster-oven. Fuckin A.

That's funny, bout the toaster oven. You can do LC with MS, but it will take forever. Use your spores to inoculate your WBS and when fully colonized. PC some distilled water and use that water to make GLC. Then use that to make GLC syringes. then put your WBS back in your incubator to recolonize. There's alot on here about GLC and way more contam resistant than waiting to test out your LC to see if it's good only to find out that it's not.
