Sorry everyone again for all the experienced people out there it's another one of those " is my wbs too wet? "

and yes i used the search engine like a mad man... and found lots of pictures and noticed a slight difference in comparison

In the pictures the bottom portion of the jar seems sludgy?

1. I soaked for 8 hours. ( next time will do it for 24 hours until more expansion it didn't expand that much - Read Agars Tek. )
2. I strained for 30-45 minutes and boiled water and poured it over the grains while they strained , did the hand test 30-40minutes after only a few actually stayed on like 7 seeds - should do the toilet paper test next time.
3. Followed TL's Jar tek for grains
4. Pc'd for 1hour 30min.
5. inoculated with syringe about 1 CC ( all i had to spare ) per jar i should have used more next time.
6. So far 6 days no MC.. are these jars too wet? or did I not soak for long enough

sorry for such grainy pictures.

any tips?
Thanks everyone

The grains look plump and hydrated but I've never heard of a 8 hour soak. That seems too short.

... I just read it has been 6 days with multispore, wait 2 weeks then come back and post again. It can take a while for the spores to germinate. Incubate at 80-82* for faster colonization times.
