Does LEO watch lye purchases? Can buying lye on a normal bases put you on a list?
Also, are there any such "lists?" Especially for small fish?

If you happen to be under police surveillance, it probably doesn't look good

Situation: life insurance policy, insurance company questions the signature on change of beneficiary, filed interpleader. It's either up to the parties in question to agree out of court or to be settled in court.
If it's ruled as his signature, wife gets the money, if it's ruled not his signature his mom gets the money (to divide among his children)
Ideally this can be resolved out of court, but it seems like things won't be that easy.
My question is if both parties have a handwriting expert with differing opinions about the authenticity of the signature, what is the likely outcome? Is it just up to a judge or jury to decide which expert they agree with?
Update: the wife's lawyers claim they have a text conversation between her and husband stating that changes had been made to the policy the day the change of beneficiary occurred

What rights do zombies have?
If a zombie is attacking you, you can kill it in self defense, but can you attack a zombie that hasn't attacked you first? Do zombies lose their rights permanently after dying the first time?
How would this apply to people that are temporarily medically dead and then revived?

From what i can tell, zombies are like dogs, cattle, or reality TV fans. They have no cognitive function, so they have no rights. Basically, they are only protected by animal cruelty laws. You can kill them, but you have to kill them humanely.
As far as people who are medically dead, that doesn't count. Doctors are all failed lawyers, so their opinions mean nothing.

I rear ended someone today, I told the cop my license and insurance card was at home and I had insurance , I really don't ... idk why I lied I was worried and freaking out that I was gonna get fucked , (my mental note of this story is don't lie anymore) so what's the worse that could happen to me I am freaking out , he cited me for failure to keep safe distance or something like that so I have to pay a fine regardless
I am licensed I just do not have insurance I was gonna tell the cop if he found out that it lapsed a week ago , it's been a year since I've paid/had insurance though can the person I hit or cops find that out when they call my insurance?
It just messed up their fender and her husband popped it back on while we were there , they still said we're going to take it to the shop
Am I fucked? What trouble can I get into for this? I should have just said I'm not insured and I wouldn't be freaking out as bad as I'd atleast know what's going to happen .. .

Is insurance a requirement to register a vehicle in your state?
If so you are going to get cited for driving without insurance.
If the person you hit calls your former insurer the insurer will tell them you don't have coverage as it expired and that it isn't their problem.
The other driver will either have to file a claim against their insurance if they have uninsured coverage or sue you for damages.
I'll let enlil handle the lying to the cop question.

Get insurance for court when dealing with the no insurance ticket. Usually lowers fine. Reach outto the people you hit and work something out. Don’t want them filing a claim, just going to cost you more money.

I think I've been scammed. The short of it is that my stupid ass met someone online, made an arrangement for them to send me something illegal, payed them in bitcoin, the package was shipped through a company that has all sorts of red flags for inauthenticity. This company put the package on hold and asked for more money sent to them every day for things like package insurance, customs stamps, FDA this and that. Anyhoo the the threatening side of things is that supposedly if I don't pay, the package will be opened and then turned into the police. I think: the MFer who sold me the such and such in the first place is the person behind the shipping carrier website and is scamming me from all angles lol. Their likely isn't even a package. My question is, if I choose to stop paying these fees, is there any risk of me being arrested? It's 2g of a controlled substance in the alleged package. My true full name is on the address. I have payed the shipping carrier $270 in bitcoin. My researched opinion is that I can't be incriminated because I could throw a cover story like "A friend I met online told me they sent me a gift with a tracking number. I'm not aware of the contents of the package. I only payed the fees when the package was put on hold because it came to my attention that I could get into trouble for the package if it was opened, the sender stopped replying, but I've realized I'm not legally at risk for the situation and so I've decided to stop paying the fees." All my communication with the sender has been through signal app with disappearing messages. What do y'all think? Am I legally safe?

No. You're not safe. You're not exactly in extreme danger either. You should just let it go and not ever say a word to anyone who asks about it. Proving you ordered it is going to be very difficult, so don't say anything that might make it easier.

You're not going to be charged for lying to the cop. You're going to be charged for driving without insurance, and you'll likely lose your license for awhile. Suck it up.

Has being an attorney for so long made you feel superior when arguing with someone? Does being technically correct feel as good as actually being correct? Since you're so liquid with your retorts, does it make you feel superior and slick being correct by applying philosophical spins to arguments faster than others who aren't practiced? Tell the truth

Superior? No. I do gauge people who argue with me though, and most simply aren't great at it. Often, I dumb it down for people. It doesn't make me "feel" anything, though.
What is the difference between "technically being correct" and "actually being correct?"
Philosophical spins....I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Do I think that a government agency is going to spend thousands, perhaps 10s of thousands to track down someone who is likely outside of their territorial jurisdiction in the hopes of maybe getting you to plea to a misdemeanor?
Uh...no.
