I am licensed I just do not have insurance I was gonna tell the cop if he found out that it lapsed a week ago , it's been a year since I've paid/had insurance though can the person I hit or cops find that out when they call my insurance?
It just messed up their fender and her husband popped it back on while we were there , they still said we're going to take it to the shop
Am I fucked? What trouble can I get into for this? I should have just said I'm not insured and I wouldn't be freaking out as bad as I'd atleast know what's going to happen .. .
You're not going to be charged for lying to the cop. You're going to be charged for driving without insurance, and you'll likely lose your license for awhile. Suck it up.
Just a note, new hampshire and virginia do not require insurance.

They do to the same extent that every state does. Every state has some alternative option.

Nope. You can legally drive in NH without insurance of any kind. They can suspend your ability to keep driving if you get into an at fault accident until you pay for the other persons damages, but they can't criminally charge you for driving without insurance like most states.

I occasionally participate in some illegal activities. Im careful and work with intelligent and sober people, nevertheless the risk of trouble with the law is there. I have no criminal record whatsoever at this point. My question is can I take a lawyer a bunch of cash and just say if the day ever comes and I need you here's payment? If the answer is yes how do I even approach that conversation?
Im concerned if I ever did get in trouble and my assets were seized I wouldn't have a way to hire a good attorney. I have money but on paper I only make 50k a year with very little savings. Most of my money is cash

That's certainly one way to go about it. Any attorney who is going to be holding your money for a long time without getting to earn any of it isn't likely to want that gig unless you also pay a retainer. A retainer is a fee just to ensure that the attorney is available for a period of time should you need him.

Rather than hire new stranger ‘attorney” to hold cash 💵, just buy quality containers, and burry it like squirrels amigo In ground.

I am wondering what you think about THC-a and eh, what could go wrong here for ordering it.
From what I've gathered, its pretty unquestionably legal to possess thc-a, and is only illegal under the "total thc" states, and 100% okay for usps to ship them through their states.
Also, what do you think I could do to easily find out how many people have been busted by the feds for these sorts of things when they come up.
There seems to be a little controversy as to whether or not this loophole holds up.
And then there's the risk of the police holding a hair dryer to it for a long time to activate it to make it illegal, or switch it with other evidence. Gas chromotography involves heat.

I feel like I might be able to add to what your asking. I may not be able to answer the questions directly for I have been very interested in the subject of thc-a and it's dynamics, I live in 100 percent total illegal weed state, except all 2018 farm bill related shit cbd, d8, and all the other 3 letter "hemp derived" synthetic compounds under the viel of the 2018 farm bill. Spice versions 2.0 They even sell a "hemp derived" d9 here.
Heres what I got to say about shipping products.
Testing facilities for these compound are very VERY few and far between and do not even close have the capability to prove these compounds from what they are labled. Im most states, or even economically feasable in many circumstamces.
You can label anything fucking anything... I prefer the d8 umbrella. D8 has low heat... If you send less than felony amounts in all states through mailing. The LIKLEYHOOD of prosecution is very very slim to none.
See now in my state they pulled a little fucky fuck and tried banning "green leafy substances" a successful lawsuit was filed, but the fuckimg judge presiding over the case, magically misfiled some bs, per the head of my state norml chapt org. Told me personally. So apparently they may be able to get us here on state shit over "green leafy substances" until the lawsuit pertain 2018 farm bill shit is filed or whathaveyou.
If you are sending less than oz. At a time, in mylar, usps, all the general mail op sec. The likelyhood of getting a pack yanked is SO low. Say a pack does get yanked... Less than an oz... Or wax concentrate whatever forms...cookie...wtf ever.
Small amounts will simply not have the resources to be investagated or prosecuted...
I think it all boils down to amount, frequency, and op sec. As well as labeling, disclaimer papers stating 2018 farm bill, fake lab certs... tge list of preventiive measures go on. But if frequency and size is kept to an acceptabke amount, that WILL the the largest determaining factor on LE actions on your package.
I hope that helps.

What are the penalties for signing into someone else email?
Situation: sibling died recently, their spouse is not cooperating/communicating with our family. Would like to access their (my siblings) email account for data that may be useful. The backup email account listed belongs to the spouse.

So, I know a couple of law enforcement officers working for the same county. They are hanging out one night, drinking, and the one discharges a firearm into the other's leg. When responders arrived, the two make no mention of alcohol and had hidden the evidence. I learned of this through the brother of the one who had been shot. I would like to see the one who fired the shot lose his job. What should I do?

18 U.S.C. §1030 applies, though it's not often used.

I'm interested in amateur chemistry and would like to stock a small personal lab with chemicals and glass ware. I also would like to avoid interest from law enforcement, and most importantly would like to avoid a search of my house.
Other than purchasing DEA watchlist chemicals and labware, what might trigger law enforcement interest, especially leading to phone calls or a knock on the door? If such a call/knock occurs, how should it be handled?
What would trigger a search warrant? They would have to prove intent to manufacture something illegal right? Say I have common chemicals that could be used to make legal and illegal things, what would they need to get a search warrant for illegal things?

Can whistle blowers aware of noncompliance get paid a portion of the fines under CPRA https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Privacy_Rights_Act ?
What differentiates an intentional violation from a violation under CPRA?
Does keeping the data and knowing you shouldn't make it intentional? Does failing to plan and spend on resources to implement data purging as required under CPRA rise to intentional violation or can a company argue lack of resources?

You can't prove ownership, because the cat is legally not yours.
Maybe just take it?

Take the cat to the vet and have it microchipped with your info...is what I would do. No idea on the legality.

If it comes down to it, you might have to get the old neighbor to testify. Still, it needs to go to court for that to happen. When you move out, just take the cat, and make her sue you if she wants it. It would be helpful if you could prove you paid for vet visits, food, etc.

Not sure if it helps here, but when a friend got arrested they sent his dogs to the pound, they were not chipped and the place just required pictures of the dogs as proof of ownership. I didn’t have any so the girl just took me aside and told me to google search pictures of identical dogs and bring those. It’s a little different though since they’re trying as hard as they can to give the animals back.
Good luck with the cat.
