What’s the easiest way to get an affidavit for the phone records? It looks like I need to have a lawsuit and subpoena them. I found a number for att but it says if you don’t have a lawsuit to hang up and call customer service.
I wouldn’t say I don’t have courage to leave a review, I’m just cautious. I do appreciate the advice it means a lot to me I feel much better talking about the situation.

Whatever it is, as long as it doesn't involve touching children, I wish you all the best, because after listening to prosecutors like Henry Connick Sr talk about the judicial system not being about innocence or guilt, but win or lose! I have very little faith in the fairness of law, but I very much appreciate Lawyers such as Enlil who are willing to take the time to give free advice and tell us a little bit about where we stand.

Nah, got fired and employer says that I quit.
I would say more but some details are best kept private.
Thanks for the well wishes.

If I am forced to seek legal representation because of another party's claims, may I be compensated if those claims are found to be false?

Unlikely. For the most part, parties bear their own attorney's fees in an action. There are statutory exceptions, but not a lot of them.

Lets say somebody had ordered some research chemicals from NL. One being deschloroketamine, the other being 2-flourodeschloroketamine. Both get seized by U.S. customs. These are analogues of ketamine, which is a schedule III substance.
Does customs have the right to seize these chemicals or is it a possibility to win in court on the grounds that the chemicals do not fall under the analogue act? I suspect that they are now using raman spectroscopy and know exactly what these substances are, yet are still seizing them at high rates.
This is not one particular individual but rather a trend occuring recently. As a user this seems like government theft because nobody is willing to challenge it.

Did you receive a love letter or just the vendor's claim that they were seized?

Vendor claims and bunch of other people getting love letters. I might be missing something but it seems like both chemicals are technically legal in the u.s.

How common are inaccuracies on a persons criminal record ? I recently applied for a job to work in a prison to teach inmates construction work but had issues with the background check . They placed me on a 30 day fbi hold . The only thing on my criminal record I'm aware of is a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge from 2000 . It's been 22 years , I don't know if your record has to be cleaner than that but the whole thing just worries me about what they might be seeing . This is the second time I've tried with the same result and they won't tell me what they are seeing in my background check . The state employer isn't allowed to know and the prison people just ignore me . Is there anything I can do with this ? It's driving me nuts . The last time I was pulled over the cops held me for 20 min because they thought I was some other guy who was wanted for armed robbery with the same name as me . I thought they were going to take me to jail they didn't want to believe me when I told them I lived down the street like my ID says . They even told me this was a problem I needed to fix or I could end up in jail , and I was like " uhh my problem ? "

You can do a background check on yourself.

I would recommend paying for a background check on yourself. It's possible someone else's conviction is on your record.

I own a large piece of property that has a large fish pond on it. There's a neighborhood surrounding the property and a lot of neighborhood kids play and fish back there. I don't really mind as long as they respect the property. A friend told me if any of those kids ever drown or get hurt back there I'd be liable. That just sounds silly to me. Any truth to that?
