Can an employer back out of a settlement after verbally agreeing to terms before an arbitration hearing? What happens next if so? Can we still have the hearing?

If someone sues me, can I make a fake law firm website and a fake lawyer name and respond to their requests with delays and distractions for as long as it takes until they lose interest.

I'm not attorney, yet, find employer has better footing for bully actions and see that yes, they could much run over your foot.
Wonder what attorney say?

Impersonating a ... Heck, it is the time of COVID, who isn't on another script?
Is it illegal to impersonate an attorney?
Impersonating other people for gain is generally illegal. It is generally illegal to practice law without a license. If you claim to be an attorney, but do not impersonate a specific lawyer, and do not actually practice law, it is unlikely to be illegal.

Not impersonating anyone. Make a website claim you are so and so representing yourself and then go through the motions but your client gets into a car accident every week 30minutes before any meeting

A settlement agreement, like any contract, is subject to specific laws regarding enforceability. Verbal agreements have limitations in every state. Also, there is the inevitable problem of being able to prove a verbal agreement.
As a practical matter, you're basically asking for a trial to determine whether there was an agreement. That's not any better position than just holding a trial to the first case.

If you don't have a problem risking jail time over something stupid. I would be pretty surprised if the opposition didn't quickly figure out that you're scamming them.

Doubtful. If it was a lawsuit worth 8 mil, there would be a lawyer on the other side competent enough to check the license status of opposing counsel.

If you were to murder somebody and then an angry mob starts chasing you, is it still self defense if you kill some of the mob?
This rittenhouse case has some interesting angles with people chasing him because he was trying to leave the scene of a murder he’d just committed.
I’m guessing if you can prove there was a reasonable chance the mob would kill you then they’ll allow shooting them as self defense even if you had murdered somebody causing the mob in the first place?

Depends on many factors.
1. Initial aggressors cannot rely upon self-defense. If the mob chasing him were part of the same overall incident of him murdering someone, he can't rely on self-defense. Actually, him killing someone while trying to escape could be felony murder, too.
2. If enough time has passed that the mob incident is removed from the original murder, then he could rely on self-defense, assuming he can prove a reasonable fear of imminent death or serious bodily harm. Still....that's a hard sell to a jury.

you would think. Also, there were other things this guy did. But basically it was a high profile, very wealthy man and it was a frivolous lawsuit to begin with and the guy is like a rag to riches story with a nack for slipping through the cracks.
