Funny how fast you learn who your real friends are.
I have no qualms saying I've got three. I'd trust them all with my life in absolutely any endeavor for myself or for them.

Have you ever seen sociopathic / pathological liars end up on the sweet end of the deal?
Wondering how well I'd fare if I ever had to speak in court.
My wife says she "doesn't understand how I get away with half the shit I do" and the coercion I use to get what I want is "borderline sociopathic".
I guess, have you ever had clients who admitted guilt and just lied their way out of it?
It's gotta be possible.

They take the whole set of warrants, including bench warrants for traffic issues. It's casting a wide net to catch whatever they can. Failing to appear for a traffic case resulting in a bench warrant can eventually result in two cops pounding on your door LOUDLY at 4am.
That can and *will* happen out here, but only if the police know something's going on and need an excuse.
Town of 300 people, the worst thing that really goes on is a cop has to drive someone home that's too drunk to walk.

Anybody who's growing or selling really needs to check their fuckin speeding tickets and DUI records.
It seems every third or fourth story involves something as simple as showing up to pay $100 - or in some cases can be done online - and then a person gets snagged.
C'mon now guys, really?
And no jush, not aimed at your buddy specifically, it's alarming how many are even posted in the News Forum.

I had this happen to me once and eventually they caught their fuckup. Needless to say, I didn't have the necessary funds to cover both items, and it was past their return date. By not owning up to it, I found myself fucked later.
Honesty is usually the best policy, man.

Wait... so the stepson was risking his life by lifting a car with his body... The cops come and fuck it up, killing the kid, and your stepson is facing charges?
Is the deceased fellow's family suing the PD for killing their kid?

You tell customs nothing. You sign nothing. You don't go there to pickup a package. You don't say anything to them on the phone. And don't get your grandmother arrested for your drug lab.

My buddy had the same thing happen but even worse with asbestos as well. Said suing them was the easiest thing in the world since it was a slam dunk.

Yep...
And nope on the religious thing either.
3 Schedule 1 substances - four for the weed depending where you were - paraphernalia, and the tints.
The lawyer may be able to get you off the window tints if you have dealership info or proof that they're legal. Maybe the weed and pipe because of your medical card but I'm not sure how that would look in court. Medicating at a festival probably isn't going to fly.
That 5 grand may get you out of prison. I'm sure you'll land in a treatment program, community service, fines and at the very least house arrest and an ankle bracelet. I'd imagine that to be best case.
A public defender and a plea deal are likely the best outcomes here.
Anxiously awaiting Enlil's response.

Pretty much the same thing happened to me when I took a summer job at an office supply store. Half hour early, half hour late. I got my money reimbursed after contacting the department of labor but that was like 13 or 14 years ago I don't know how that would pan out now.

Check your state laws. Some states offer free tenant help lines with an attorney with whom you can speak. Ex: Minnesota law offers tons of protection, Oregon pales in comparison.
Your lease is null and void I would imagine since you weren't 21. I'd venture a guess you can end up with a 24 to 72 hour eviction notice so be careful and call your state help line. It's free.
Awaiting a response from Enlil however.
