Mushrooms dying?

First off, I can't post any pics simply because I lost the cord to transfer them to my comp. Now my question, some of my mushrooms have turned a bluish-black and seem to be dying off. My first guess is the humidity is too low (about 70-86%) I've cased them and can't seem to keep it up anything past that. My temp is 76, I'm using a Tub in tub to keep my temperature up in my FC. So maybe it's too hot for them? When I checked today, so of them are shrinking again, this is why I think they are dying off except a FEW are surviving. This is kind of a two part question, has anyone experienced this before (I'm using a table-top air purifier, so I'm assuming it's fairly clean) and part two, what should I do to keep my humidity up?

What method/ substrate? I used TiT for incubation in the past and I noticed the humidity dropped quiet low in the top tub, lower than the RH of the room. The RH in room was over 50 and it was about 20%RH inside the tub.

If you are using Tub in Tub, you are following some ancient tek. Not many people still use that method for your specific reasons. Hard to maintain consistant RH, temp, etc. Build yourself a Shotgun Fruiting Chamber (SGFC), dump some wet perlite in the bottom, put your cakes in and sit back and relax. Of course, I am assuming you are doing PF Tek.
If you are running bulk, then look up Mono tub Tek.
As for your current run, If some of your mushrooms have opened all the way up, the blueish-black could just be spores(hard to tell without pics). if not, it could be caused by leaving too much moisture on them after misting. Are you misting then fanning or fanning first then misting? Always mist first, than fan until they are mostly dry. You should try to eliminate as much standing water on your mushrooms as possible.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that I would take the container I'm using with the medium OUT of the FC so light was reaching them (Natural mushrooms outside have turned black because of the sunlight reaching them) I bought a pre-sterilized kit so that's the container I'm talking about.

I actually have only been misting and faning once a Day _-----_ ..and using a piece of Cardboard to keep water from dripping on them I'm sure this isn't the best though ..My room says around 60, would they be ok if the temp doesn't normally go above this?
