Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6 (3) and Secret of Mana had great stories. If I could play any game again for the first time it would be FF6.

Both are epic. FF1 & FF7 were my favorites. Never got to play FF6. I just found FF3(J) for my DS though and am strongly considering playing it.

FF8 never gets the credit its due. Too many people try to compare it FF7 rather than just enjoy for what it is.

I know only thing I didnt like about it was the addition of the card game... I remember playing it and seeing the card part and thinking to myself "if i wanted to play with cards I would turn this off and go play them" lol... but I also didn't like the addition of jobs to the earlier games either was glad square dropped those (believe it showed up in FF3) personally I play them for the story.. the less BS the better

I loved final fantasy. FF tactics, 7,8,9,10 and 12 were all good. These games and Zelda: OoT is what got me into gaming.

Gosh golly, I love Final Fantasy! This whipper snapper loves the hell out of FF7. That's where RPG's started with me. I actually have a copy. Although I don't have a PS1 or the PS2 that actually played it. It crapped out on me and then the newer/refurb ones hardly play the PS1 games. I bought it for my fiance for our first Christmas. It was hella expensive. I still have Parasite Eve as well. Don't laugh! I love that game. And true love last forever.

well shucks, i sure love them both. CT and FFIII/FFVI + FFVII are wonderful games and i honestly can't choose a favourite between them, both of which i regularly revisit.
i also love CC as well though, so there's that.

The issue most people have is trying to get the bios to work. When you download the emulator, unlike most cartridge emulators out there, you need to download the bios files as well (this is how the developers of the PSX emulators kept from getting into legal trouble).
You can find a torrent for all the bios files through google. You need a video, audio and controller bios file, one of each and then you have to apply them in the emulator settings. Some bios work for most games, while some other games need different bios files.

I like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy quite a bit. I haven't played much of Chrono Cross, but I will say that the music in Chrono Trigger is very very awesome. All of the other members of my band have been very influenced by it, even citing it as the first real orchestral music they became interested in. Final Fantasy is a very good series as well. I really like the first two.

Dude, try 10 it's amazing!! But that's probably because it was my childhood game I've played FF 7, 10 and 12 and enjoyed all of them (12 had a shite story though) Going to play 9 during the summer

I once had a FF7 orchestrated cd, it was great!
When will we see a Final Fantasy movie, (Not like the one Spirits Within). There was FF7 Advent Children but that was animated. I want to see real characters here!
