If you could go back in time and inform yourself of just 1 thing what age would you go back to and what would you say?

I'd go back to that time at the bridge. I'd tell myself what happened after that and then I'd tell myself to jump.

I'd go back to that time when Mr. Mushrooms was going to jump and stop him.

There really isn't much I would want to tell myself, apart from the lottery numbers of course. But I would beat myself up. I've always wanted to beat a weaker, younger version of myself up.

The problem is that you really don?t know if the one that got away was a good one or not, unless you spend lets say 7 years living together! In all honesty, I would not go back and say that to my self (been happily married for 14 years). But changing the spin a little bit, if reincarnation was a reality, I would like to send a message to my future self not to marry in the next life .

i'd go back to just after my daughter was born & insist that my wife tell her physician about her persistent feelings of sadness... & at the same time tell myself to accept that temp job at the company that had just laid me off (& everybody else who was a union memeber)... ~ & maybe just maybe we'd still be married, huh? & not trying to do this solo parenting gig w/2 teens... & maybe i'd be more than barely keepin' up with the bills... ~ ~ ummmm, what was the question again? ~ listen there's a hell of a good universe next door let's go (e e cummings) ~ ~ ~ ~ "may you live in interesting times" (ancient chinese curse) ~ ~ "here i stand; i can do no other; god help me! (m. luther) ~ ~ ~ "when the shift lifts, all bills are paid; no regrets!" (attributed to lazarus long) ~ ~ enought tears have been shed; and time enough has gone by that few tears remain; but, could i do it all o'er again... well, there's much i would not change, but, to be sure, some that i would indeed... yes indeedy... ~ ~

I wouldn't want to go back to tell myself something or to change anything. Regretting the past and wanting to make things different won't do anything but bring me down. I try to accept and enjoy things they way they are.
If given the opportunity to go back in time, I would take advantage of it and challenge myself from 5 seconds ago to a race or some kind of competition. I would know that the matchup would be equal physically, so it would be all about which version of myself would use a better strategy. That's my idea of a good time.

I'd go back to when I was 6 years old and say "I am you from the year 2003. When you're 19 you will come back in time to this place and meet yourself here. You will tell yourself this."

Aren't you all forgetting about the SPACE-TIME CONTINUIM?!?!?! Haven't we all learned from Back To The Future that meeting yourself in a different time could destroy the universe?! What would the Doc say?
-------------------- The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

I'd go back to me when I was 15, and tell myself "sup dude."
