Hi guys.

Has anyone else other than houndinihar had any luck with the Tricholoma crassum. I have a couple of bags ready to case and was wondering what you all are casing with? Soil, peat? sterile, pasteurized, or not at all?

Sorry bro, but you are out ahead of me, as usual.

I did bring the  though.  ;0)

P.S. Nice bag.  Did you find a local source?

I jsut googled that species and realized I found them growing abundantly in the forest entrance to my school parking lot. They were right next to the trail growing through the pine needle bed under a large conifer.

I thought to myself how cool they looked and then tossed the few I picked to examine back into the pine needles.

Should have brought them home to ID and eat :kingcrankey:
