Any articles too elaborate on this?

There arent too many.
It is a truly unexplained phenominon. Some say its a standing wave of some sort (weird atmospheric fluid dynamics or vibrations), someone recently put out a theory that it is a weird Aurora structure caused by the planets magnetosphere.
Its unknown.
In my astronomy class as an undergraduate, the professor showed a video from a fluid dynamics experiment recreating the hexagon exactly... They had fluid dynamics equations to prove it and everything...

I have two explanations:
1)
Aliens
or
2) For some reason gravity is being displaced by another force that does not act symmetrically. Gravity normally will create circles or spheres by applying similar force all over. Something seems to be distorting this or there is a whole other force in play altogether. Perhaps electricity?
Very sweet find indeed SuperN!
