 Hydroponic Shroom kit question

Found this "Hydroponic Shroom Kit" online just now. Even though there is no such thing as "hydroponic shrooms" this kit seems legit in that it has an air filter, water heater, digital thermometer with probe.

I'm just looking for input to see if anyone has used this product or site before. And if it's worth the price and if there is anything better out there for a n00b. After being burned by Mushfarms I'm a bit cautious of trying again...

Waste of money man.
Get this:
a case of 1/2 pt. wide mouth canning jars
a bag of vermiculite
a bag of brown rice flour
a bag of perlite
a clear plastic tote
Anything else you should be able to find around the house
Order a spore syringe from a reliable source
Your good to go.
Watch THESE videos a few times until you can walk through it in your head flawlessly. Make sure you read the stuff below the videos too.

Since mushrooms do not grow by hydroponic methods, any so-called 'kit' using that word is a scam, ripoff, bogus, or whatever other adjective you chose to describe it.
Don't link to such sites. It raises them in the search standings, and also makes you look like a spammer for posting a link to such nonsense in your first post here. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, but don't let it happen again.

Not true. All such links contain rel="nofollow" which will stop any search engine of any importance from following (and thus raising the ranking of) such links.

I had someone tell me they got some hydroponic shrooms.
I then proceed to tell them why that was stupid.

well since it has been raised may i proceed
if you used a synthetic woven membrane drenched in nutrient rich water. allowed mycelium to run a muck on it then after every flush flood the basin or dip the mesh in the water then proceed to next flush
just instant thinking

The word 'hydroponic' describes growing plants. Mushrooms aren't plants. Even if you could, some how, grow mushrooms with just water and nutrients, it wouldn't be called 'hydroponic'.

mushrooms consume solid food "hydroponic mushrooms" don't exist
it just sounds feasible so its pushed on new growers that for what ever reason refuse to buy a book in cultivation of mushrooms and learn how to make your own for a fraction of the cost.
