Using a fake domain to improve member security.

Hello, I know many members here are very cautious and even paranoid that "someone is watching" them.
Usually if someone is suspected of doing something they shouldn't and LEO gets involved. LEO will go to a persons ISP and look up their log records. These log records can show where you've been and what websites you've been on.
Well, an interesting twist to this is that some websites that deal with questionable material are throwing up fake domains. This is so that when someone checks log records they see a fake domain (basically a mirrored domain).
So instead of seeing www.shroomery.org, they'd see www.guesswho.com. Yet when people go to guesswho.com they'll see shroomery info!
The tough part is that this only really works with subscription based websites. And the subscriber is given a username and password to enter. So if someone were stumble upon guesswho.com they'd see some fake cheap page that has nothing to do with mushrooms.
You'd also need the subscriber to hook via SSL. Not a big deal but .... not something everyone would like to do
Just my 2 cents.

I'd be a litle careful with commerical anonymizers. Read this, its about how a few of these companies that were supposedly out to protect peoples "privacy" were really funded by the CIA.
As for technically mirroring a website, its not hard. You're basically copying one website from one domain then putting all of that information under another. There was a mirror site for google! ( http://www.alltooflat.com/geeky/elgoog/ )
It ran much faster than the normal google becuase many didn't know about it.
Maybe in the next few months I'll think of a game plan on how this can be implemented?
We'll see
