mutants on bottom of cakes?? possible rot??
    #1586181 - 05/28/03 08:58 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

my cakes were growing mutant (just white flesh) shrooms on the bottom im assuming because i had them on a wire mesh above the perlite... the wire mesh was rusting due to the H202/H20 solution keeping the perlite damp... i removed this and made a nice 10 layer paper towel bed instead of the perlite so the cajes are no longer on a mesh nbut sitting on moist paper towels.. should i worry about rot?? i took a few off cleaned em up and ate em... (about a large strawberrys worth) but there is still some left... im starting to feel em so i dunno... this post has taken me 15 minutes to wrote ... ok bye
