What is it?
    #1584493 - 05/28/03 12:01 PM (14 years, 2 months ago)

There's some kind of weird spots on some of the leaves on one of my friend's plants...it's like the green outer layer is eaten away, but there is still a very thin transparent layer left...Could it be diseased? None of the other plants around it have the spots, so i don't think it's from insects.. Any input or advice would be appreciated...

Looks to me like some kind of bug has been getting ahold of it. I could be wrong though.

if only a few of the leaves have it then i would just remove those leaves. if it returns then its probly bugs or whatever your plants health seems fine tho. just out of curiosity what strain are they? they look to be a sativa. i think they will be fine but if things get worse let us know and someone will be able to tell u what to do. peace

If the condition persists on new leaves and shoots, you might have a micronutrient deficiency or soil problem. But It's hard to tell at this point... it doesn't look too severe so I wouldn't worry yet.

yea thats what i figured i got some bag seeds going right now myself. yeti is right too it could be that. if it is a micronutrient deficiency go buy some form of granulated tomato fertilizer with the full spectrum of trace nutrients and metals. it works wonders you just dig it in around the plant and its slow release. peace
