Here I go again on my own...

Going down the onlt road I've ever known...

No just kidding. But I about to start my next attempt at growing shrooms. I get the spores tommorow, and i took great care in setting up the substrate and jars. They are cooling as we speak, and look much better than last time. I think I may have used to much water last time. I'll keep you posted if all goes well. And if it goes really well, I'll post my pics.

i'm very curious why someone who is in the business of selling spores, judging from your sig link, would be getting spores from someone else and be experiencing the difficulties you describe.
what gives ?

No, i am not paying my spores, nor am i the owner of the spore buisness. The business is owned by someone else. I am the webmaster of that site. I do his site in exchange for a lifetime suppy of spores. Last time i must have used too much water in my substrate. he has sold over 100 syringes and a bunch of prints (in the first two months), and neither of us have recieved any complaints, so i'm sure the first screw up was mine.

i doubt i got the one bum syringe, and this time when i made the substrate and was much more careful about my measurements, it seemed to be dryier.

you know, the more i think about, everything about 'spore magic' smells off to me.
i saw the little sock puppet spam he's pulled over at drooldonkey.
and ever since he began posting,
i get the distinct impression that he's a newbie adolescent trying to impress folks while he makes a few bucks.
and i think that you are just another one of the alter-egos he uses to spam himself while making it look as if he has loyal customers, etc.
but what the hell do i know.
like lizard said, i would not buy spores from 'spore magic'.

You can see ip address's of the people who post at drool donkey right? go ahead and check our ips. i am from pa, he is from va. so did he help me set anything up, no he didn't. i am a newbie grower, and so i screwed up once, no biggie. i don't really know him irl, i know who he is, but i haven't met him. i will meet him soon enough, since i will be attending va tech, which is close enough to him.

and just cause we are the new guys out there doesn't mean we aren't good for our word. he is as reliable as the next guy, i have seen many people thank him for his speadily deliverly. since most of our traffic comes from the high shoppe, i don't know if any has ordered from spore magic and will read this, but if you did, please post your comments.

as far as obviously friends with him, i met him online. does this count? i saw he was trying to start a business and i offered my services. he is not really young, not old, but he is married and just had his first kid.

he does spam a bit, but i told him to stop, and i have never seen him use an "alter ego"
