Is this a cube on my pf cake? CAUTION:Newbie

Hey all. First off, I'd like to thank everybody who contributes their valuable information to the site, and make it possible for people like me to search through the posts and find answers for the MILLIONS of questions this hobby encourages.
This is my first post, and I'll go right ahead and apologize if this should be in the mushroom IDing forum, but since the mushroom in question grew on a pf cake, I thought maybe it was a regular occurrence and I am simply not experienced enough to see that it is a cube indeed. Anyway, here's a couple photos taken of a PF cake of EQ's.

I couldn't help but notice how much larger this mushroom grew to be than all the others, and it seemed to have a little slimier cap when I picked it. (the white flecks/chunks on the cap is perlite from me being sloppy when removing it from the sgfc) Two more things: the cap din't have a round margin, but like you can see in the pictures, kind of bulges in a wavy pattern along the edge. Also, I noticed a tiny hole in the side of the stem when the mushroom started out, but it didn't effect its growth at all. I figure this may have been from a gnat fly? (I see and get rid of the occasional fly when I see one buzzing in/around my sgfc)
Last thing: it did blue when squeezing the stem, and where I cut the cap off. Spore print in progress.
Thanks for the help, folks, and bare with my lack of terminology and identifying lingo.

Thats a cube, Im guessing because this is your first post that you did MS (Multi-spore) meaning your going to get all kinds of genetics popping out of your cakes. Definatly a cube tho man, so your good, also kinda looks like the genetics in this particular mushroom (last pic) are sporeless tho it may just be that I cant see them..
Anyways, it is a cube so your good to eat it anytime!!

It is a cube but you should never say "eat it and find out."

Thanks all.
MushroomHaven: yeah, multispore, should have mentioned that. I think you're right about it being sporeless, but we'll see if it drops anything.

Did anyone miss the BLACK MOLD all over his 1st cake? Unless that is his shadow... Those are some very grey cakes.

Yeah, pretty sure those are just spores. I let some of them go as long as I could, I figured they'd be grown to their potential and prime to take prints off, some of them I caught a bit late. You can also see some of that blackish dusting on some of my perlite surrounding the cakes, but probably not in the pics provided.
So general consensus is it's a cube then? I figured it was but I'm paranoid through lack of experience, and realizing how dangerous eating unknown mushrooms can prove to be. lookin like a tasty snack!
thanks again for the input.

Well it has been answered, it is a cube.. like "Wizzy" said, you put cube spores in, you get cubes out lol. They cap is like that either because: a) genetics b) not enough fae c) you misted the already growing mushie too much d) not enough humidity
I honestly think its B & D, but if i had to pick only 1, B.

It sure is.. and definitely screams of EQ! I've not had a strain that looked near this (B+ was the closest) since.
