What if only one of you popcorns has something like a wet spot on it, will it spread if the jar is about 80%

A picture would be nice.

As long as the wet spot isn't a strange color (yellow, orangey, etc.) it's probably just water.

However, that wet spot may never colonize. Nonetheless you can always used the colonized portion of the jar.

Is there any water pooling at the bottom? Any more than 1/4'' is not good, as that area will never colonize, or colonize very slowly and thick.

If worse comes to worse just scoop out what appears to be good mycelium, and smell it. Chuck it if it smells un-shroomy. I've used bacteria-infested spawn before... and trust me it fruits like crap or doesn't fruit at all.

Good luck.

Doesn't matter if kernels are squeezed up and gooshy, that means that they just exploded during sterilization or simmering.
