11 jars. 9 with no signs of growth. The other two are can be seen here. Based on photos I've seen, one appears good and one is contaminated. Am I correct?

Take your foil off if you applied your dry verm layer. The foil is just used to keep water from falling in your jars during the sterilization process. I can tell those look a bit moist. That, and the foil suffocating them might be the issue. If you dont see any growth within 2-3 after inoculating them i would restart. Its always better to be on the dryer side then moist.

Shoot me a pm if you would like a powerful custom laser built. 4th pic is a 1.3W 445nm laser burning thru some plastic makeup containers. Yes I was wearing proper safety goggles, otherwise I would be blind right now.

wonder if tape should also be removed? There is a dry verm layer. The tape was replaced after inoculation.

Nah, if its micropore take then leave it on. If you used a non breathable tape then remove and dont move the jars around. Any contams the verm layer may catch can fall thru if you move the jars around. Next time when making your cakes, slowly pour your water into the verm. If you still have water left but its all mixed in and not too dry stop pouring the water. then add your brf. After that if its too dry add a little water till it looks just damp. Then add it into the jars, being careful not to pack down. i noticed if you add all the ingredients together it will get clumpy and too wet. Adding the water to the verm first can help prevent this.

Just a quick follow-up. Still only the one Jar colonizing. It's about half-way around. Only took off from 1 of 4 points. The spores were bought from micro-supply.
Got some more from SporeWorks and after 3 days with new jars, all are colonizing. Micro-supply wasted a bunch of my time. Wish I would have checked out the sponsor page here before my 1st order.
