I am at day 8 now, and the mycellium is growing unreasonably slow haha. Or i would think that anyway.
Well here are some pictures of the new growth, it's coming slowly but surely.
I had the jars in my other room, and it was getting to 62 degree's a lot of the time. So i had to move them, my room spurs from 75 - 82, so I think it will be perfect.
Any advice, much appreciated
Thanks,
C

Howdy guys! So I was going to give a day by day update, but the length of the colonization would make that just...lol too much ahaha
So here I am 16 Days into colonization, and everything is going swimmingly, but slow, as to be expected with MS.
Ordered a larger Pressure cooker, and I just finished making my greenhouse, and now have cleared out a room in my house for mass growing, I am pumped, ill post pictures of the green house tomorrow, or soon there after.
Anyway, long awaiting, here is the progress.
Thanks,
C

No SGFC for those cakes? Straight to the GH, huh?

haha I do have a SGFC made and ready, but I thought it would be better to use the GH, but If you guys think the SGFC is that much better for fruiting these cakes. Ill just change my mind then haha
Thanks,
C

cool GH! Well executed but not over the top. Are you gonna use a cool mist + ultra mist, or is just one sufficient?

Thanks! It wasn't much work at all, I am using a Crane Ultrasonic Humidifier, and a Sunbeam Humidifier. The Sunbeam has an impeller, which is nice. Not sure if its enough force though, while the crane doesnt have any impeller. So I think I am going to line both of the humidifiers into a small box, and then they impeller will create enough pressure to push the ultrasonics output into the GH, also tying a heater into the small box so that the air wont condensate as much in my PVC, Hopefully. Well anywho, Ill show what it looks like when its finished.
Thanks again,
C
