Eco Earth Coconut Fiber

From using the search function, Ive managed to get different views.

I just bought a brick of Eco Earth coconut fiber.

On one side, I hear its stringy, and not suitable for cultivation.

On the other, I hear its similiar and good enough, and should work.


Should I go exchange this for coco husk, or whatever?

Also, looking at the brick through the plastic, it does not appear stringy at all.

I think this shit works fine... i haven't used it personally, but am going to try it one of these days. I have heard it recomended in coir teks before. I'm sure that the consistency of it varies a bit, and as such some people who got good batches probably like it, and others don't.

I used it.. in like 2 days my mycel was at the top of my casing ^^

So I guess ill go for it :smile:

If it doesnt work, after a good amount of attempts, ill just get the coca coir husk or whatevre instead of fiber
