Today Coprinus: TOmorrow the World: Hehehe!
    #1578825 - 05/26/03 03:32 PM (20 years, 10 months ago)

Okay I was on a bus which I waited forty-five minutres to arrive.

Twenty minutes down the road I looked outside my window and espied what appeared to be a clump of shroomies lurking by a large teree stump and waiting for me to arrive.

Well being of noble blood I knew I could not let these babies escape my camera since I knew It was up to me to capture their soul on film.
So I rang the buzzer to get off the bus and unfortunately the next stop was about two and a half blocks down the street.

So I disembarked on down the path of enlightenment and approached the treee stump.

Well let me tell you, these shrooms were all over the place inthe mulch.

Here are six images of them.

After I photographed them I ended up waiting almost 50 minutes for the next bus to come by.

Enjoy.

WEll I was really hoping to find some blue ringers to photograph but no such luck. Still to dry, that is unless aa sprinkler system lawn is producing somewhere which is always a probablility.

Very nice clusters.

You ever eat any of those? I think they're OK, Mr_Mushrooms seems to practically rave about 'em.

Happy mushrooming!

I only li9ke the shaggy manes inthe Coprinus family.

And I should mention it since you brought it up. I only like about six species of edible fungi. The rest I have no desire to eat or even try.

IWhile I have knowledge of about 150 species of shrooms ooutside of magic, my field is psilocybian mushrooms.

Have a shroomy day.
