Cleaning your cow poo...
    #1577363 - 05/26/03 12:57 AM (14 years, 4 days ago)

Someone's first time using cow shit. The patties were very dry and aged, and from what someone heard, this is preferable.

However, the entire area was very dry, so any grass/leaves/debris under the patty is embedded in the poo. To remove even 50% of the grass/leaves would take a buttload of time, so someone is wondering how much of a difference it really makes. He believes that pasteurization would take care of anything dangerous, and that the dead stuff under the patty could only be beneficial.

Any feedback on this isssue?

Peace

Figured as much. Didn't think it would be a problem, it's natural!

Pasteurization should take care of anything in the litter attached to the cow patty if it works on the dung itself.
