Target sells one. They come with a wired outdoor sensor which gets to be a pain in the ass because the wire gets in the way and is hard to sanitize. They're a little sketchy, my friend has one and the screen just goes on and off arbitrarily, I don't think it likes the humidity too much. Anyway, for 20.00 it's worth a try, just keep the receipt, packaging and manual and they're sure to take it back if you don't like it...even if you decide you don't like it after you've already pulled out the wired sensor (say it "just pulled out somehow")

Great Service, Best prices

Oregon Scientific EMR-963HG $ 25 LED Display)
Oregon Scientific THGR-268 ($26 each sensor)

My friend has 3 of the sensors constantly monitoring different environments. The desk top actually scrolls through each sensor in in 4 second intervals!
Good luck

Try PetSmart in the reptile section. They have the largest selection of temp / hygrometers I've seen. Oddly enough, my local Home Depot didn't carry a single one. Walmart sold two models, but were not of the quality I expected for cultivation.

alot of people argue whether or not those hygrometers are acurate in high-humidity situations, as the condensation may form in or around the sensor.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Oregon Scientific models in numerous posts here. They are little bit more money, but worth it in the long run. Check them out.... http://www2.oregonscientific.com/accessories/thgr268.html

overkill? I called them - accurate from 5%-95% +- 0.5%. Makes me think that I can't trust the cheapo hygrometers at all, I spoke to Edmund Scientific and they basically said that their lower end model (a lot like the Oregon scientific one) is not suited for such high humidity. What do you guys think?
