30 jars w/ same problems??

Ok my dog friends ass has a problem, we make cakes, we make alot of em, but the ones ive been doin recently dont seem to work at ALL>
I Have a PC, its set at 15psi.
I use 1/2 cup verm. 1/4cup brown rice flour, 1/4 cup water.

WHat the FUck am i doing wrong?? all i know from the ordinary is the jars look a little darker, and i can only think of is maybe not grinding my brf down fine enough OR the little guy gave me some bunk shit.

What do they look like: no pics, but they look a little darker, and the substrate is like broke into sections like an earthquake divided the two part from each other.

Someone help please.

mix your substrate very very well, id mix it for 5 mins or more, realy vigourus like, maybe they type of verm you get is a different color from everybody else, try another brand of verm and flower, allow the jars too cool for long time least 24 hours, you dont want to fuck over a batch of 30 jars and 2 syringes cause you didnt wait an extra ten hours, ill tell ya one thing, tlg didnt sell you bunk shit

yeah i dont think TLG would do that.

i actually mix very well for a few minutes.
Of COurse i wait like 24-48 hour before injecting.Do i look stupid.

you think its the course ness of my brf. ??

Odd. 30 jars? Have you tried taking a whiff of them? Are there any odd colors? The only thing that would make sense to me would be if you had some type of bacterial contamination that was either:

A. Given to the substrate by not properly sterilizing the needle, then doing the same for the other 29 jars, or....

B. The area where you innoculate may be very unsanitary.

What are the sterilization methods you use? Also, what's your average incubation temperature and how long have the jars been in incubation?

there kept in an incubator at 85 degrees.

i always clean the work place well (bathroom w/ no air movement), but ive never needed to sterlize my needle, im just that cautious, and every time i have the thing gets all black on the tip and it looks hella dirty then, i use about 1 syring to 6 or 7 jars,
ALL Strains WERE CREEPER. 4 syringes i went through w/ nothing to show. :mad:

what ya think now??

Don't worry about the soot residue left on the needle after sterilizing. You can use an alcohol flame as a cleaner method. I suggest you sterilize the needle. That may be your problem.

How big are the verm. particles? I know a guy who had this happen on a smaller scale. (10 OUT OF 12 went bad) But, the 2 jars that did not go bad were different in two ways:

1. the vermiculite in the 2 non-contaminated jars had been ground in a blender
2. the spore solution in one of the 2 good jars was almost 3 years old. Half of the solution in this old syringe had leaked out. The inoculation was really just for kicks.

The dude made the observation that the ten jars with the larger vermiculite particles all stank. (Contaminated) and the other 2 jars with the smaller vermiculite particles were fine. This eliminated the possibility that it was the sterilization technique. It also eliminated contaminated syringes (2 syringes were new. one jar inoclulated with old solution as a test) because there was one jar inoculated with the same solution that did contaminate in the other jars. He had one syringe left, and so tossed the bad 10 jars, re-did the tek, this time grinding the vermiculite down to almost powder, and trying again. It worked.

I don't know if this is your problem, but I have seen this happen. By the way, the 3 year old solution took in one tiny spot, slowly, and colonized the cake completely. I heard he birthed it (showing signs of water damage so he said) and the last i heard was waiting for it to pin.
