Spores from clones?

If you cloned a mushroom, then grew it out, then took a spore print... Would the spores grow out genetic clones of the original? Is there any reason to do this? Just curious.

they would still be MS, they wont keep the same traits.

Shoot me a pm if you would like a powerful custom laser built. 4th pic is a 1.3W 445nm laser burning thru some plastic makeup containers. Yes I was wearing proper safety goggles, otherwise I would be blind right now.

They would still be multispore because fungi can (and usually do) reproduce sexually with themselves. Does that make sense?
When a spore is produced the genetic code inside it is randomized to include traits held by the parent, as well as traits from earlier generations. I believe at this step mutations can also occur.
After the single spore is dropped and has germinated, the mycelium will mate with other compatible mycelium. In order to be compatible the two organisms must be of compatible mating types (I think the higher fungi have 4 "genders"). At this step mutations can occur during the genetic swapping.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually not everyone was a noob. Being a noob is a very new phenomenon. Many people, the great majority in fact, were simply "beginners", "novices" or "new to mushroom growing". Being a "noob" is reserved, and in fact created specifically for and by, the newer, much more lame generations coming about.

So albino penis envy is monospore? They isolated the spore with that specific trait somehow?

It isn't a "Monospore". It's a unique and valid subspecies, or a strain. It was probably isolated through cloning. Removing tissue, transplanting it, etc.
The reason it always produces the similar results (Albinism) is because it mutated at one point, meaning that it no longer carries one of the traits necessary for color. It may reproduce sexually and still produce albino offspring.
This is different from leucism or other phenotypes because the organism still carries other traits, and is able to pass them on to offspring, meaning that a mushroom can be colorless, but not albino. It's hard to tell the difference while it's happening though, because just from looking an organism may appear albino, but will produce colored offspring, thus making it Leucistic. This applies to all traits, not just albinism.
I hope I helped.

What if you do a mutli spore, clone the most potent , then grow a multi spore from that and clone the best and repeat, cwould this lead to a super potent strain some day?
