It's called win the race... White team Vs. Green team. You, being the moderator of conditions, must set your team up for victory and the opposition for FAILYA!

If you notice a small spot soon enough you can take a small, sterile cup or shot glass and cover the spot and then push it down into the substrate to contain it. Doesn't contain it 100% every time, but it will definitely give your substrate a chance to fruit without getting over taken.

Trich is just a part of life for us mushroom cultivators. The spores are everywhere.
EVERYWHERE.
The only thing we can really do is clean clean clean and do more cleaning. Flame sterilize needles and stop trying to get away with just wiping with alcohol. As far as I know, heat is the only thing that will kill trich spores within the practical grasp of the average person. Trich spores laugh in the face of alcohol and bleach.
There is no "end-all" cure for trich. The only thing we can do is refine our technique and keep our work and grow areas clean.
Did I mention trich spores are FUCKING EVERYWHERE??

Assemble a class 1 cleanroom in your home
All joshing aside, if you keep good aseptic technique it isn't that big of a problem. Every time I've seen green, I can think back to something I did that allowed it in.

This thread is for research. I want for people to see green mold and come to this community and immediately fix the problem.

I believe the generally accepted response is that once you see green, it's too late to do anything about it. The green is the mold's fruit, if you will, and its mycelium look almost identical to mushroom myc.
The trick is to *avoid* trich: flame sterilize and steam/pressure sterilize what we work with, utilize gloveboxes and HEPA filters to reduce total particulate count, keep your workspace clean. Trich is close enough to the species we want that it isn't likely you'll find a "magic bullet" cure, especially not at the hobby level.
