Ps. Cyanscenes Q/A - Using cold temps to my advantage?
    #15764026 - 02/05/12 11:32 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

So I live in a more northern region. I get a lot of cold tempuratures (house thermostat at 68f, but i think i have colder areas in the house)

I have a couple jars of Psilocybe Cyanscenes ready in wbs. (can i g2g these with
more wbs?)

Basically wondering if I could hurry and use this cold winter into spring
transition towards my advantage on my wood-lovers species.

I did a lot of researching and heard an indoor cult of these require a fancy
lighted wine fridge.

Could I in theory skip this requirement in the mean time by substituting the fridge with my natural low temperature? is it even low enough? maybe to low.

My local forecast states this week's average in temperature outside was a low 30f high 40f. I believe average temp for fridge is 33-36.

Also this subject is on an Indoor Tek. I know outdoor is more ideal for this species but hey, how many months until fall?

Thoughts?

If this will work in theory - I will transfer from my wbs into alder chips soaked for 3 days. colonize on chips for a month with temps between high 60-50 degrees. I'll case with mulch i find outside with verm and put in 30-40 degrees temperature (via my porch, or next to a window.)

I don't know any ratios but im sure i can do 25% verm to my outdoor mulch and 1/3 wbs to woodchips i thought would be a ok start.
