Turning blue near pins! What's the best method of recovery?

Ok guys, I know this may have been answered, and I have been searching quite a bit and it's getting a bit overwhelming. I have 6 Golden Teacher cakes that just started pinning a few days ago. The pins are mainly focused around the top, and the area around them is turning light blue. These have been dunked and rolled prior to going in the fc. Now my questions are...will this cause them to abort and what can I do to rehydrate the specific areas? Can I add some dry verm, and then spray it down without damaging the pins? I've read that too much water will cause aborts, and I can't have that happen! Some also suggested setting the mister to the spray setting and carefully wetting the blue areas. My temp is around 65-68, and my humidity is 97-99%. I fan four times a day usually, due to work. Twice in the morning and twice at night. Im really not sure whats the best way to go about this. Thanks for any help, and any other suggestions are welcome!

You're following some dated info. Dunk them to rehydrate, then change your misting technique. Instead of trying to humidify the air, re-saturate the cakes themselves after they get a bit dry. This will promote and sustain a healthy pinset.

They shouldn't be drying out already. Try lifting one up, if it really is dehydrated it will feel relatively light. You could just be seeing bruising from handling them.

Thanks for the replies guys. Well the spots they are bluing in is not where I touched them, which is why I'm getting a bit worried...and I'm noticing it on all 6 cakes now. I'm not quite sure if I want to re-dunk them, I'm afraid of over saturation, and possibly ruining the pins. They have gotten bigger since my original post. Since it's only around the tops, I figured fine misting a few feet above them and plenty of fanning should hopefully do the trick over the course of a few days...? Doc T you mentioned changing my technique...what else can be done besides more generous misting and then fanning? Sorry for the lame ass newbie questions guys, but I really want this first grow to be an excellent one. Your replies are highly appreciated as always!

But you dunked and rolled them, that could bruise them anywhere. It should fade away over a few days. Really the only way they could be dried out already would be if you had a fan blowing on them or if they were exposed to extremely dry air this entire time.
