Another Noob drying question

So lately I have been growing some beautiful mushrooms if I do say so myself. Right now I have several specimens sitting in an open Tupperware on top of several paper towels directly in front of a fan on high. There is no heat involved in the fan. They have been sitting there overnight and they already feel dry. I want to get them as dry as possible without hurting them.
I guess my question here is, can they really ever get too dry using the fan method? I mean, if I were using an oven or a food dehydrator I'd be more careful, but I literally feel like I could leave these in front of the fan for even weeks if I wanted to and take them whenever I'm ready. Anyone want to vouch?
Btw, the weight has already dropped from 10.5 grams to 2.4 grams. I think it's going well!

You need to get them as dry as possible. You want to fan dry first and then put them in a desiccant chamber to remove the rest of the water. they shouldn't bend when fully dry. they should snap like a cracker.
Use the search function and look at the drying teks

I fan dry for 24 hrs, then put them in sealed tubs containing Damp Rid with a couple of layers of nylon screening to keep the fruits above it. Cracker dry in a day.

I've just started also! I've got some jars colonizing as we speak. But from my understanding you just want them to be like cracker dry, ill definitely have more info as i progress in my own project.
I'm planning on throwing them in front of a fan for an hour or two and then dry them fully by placing them on screen covering a bowl full of desiccant. That's just my plan but as long as the are physically dry enough to snap like a twig you're set.
Also, mushrooms are supposedly 90% water so that 10.5 should become around a gram, but i wouldn't worry about that. I dont think its THAT strict of measurements. And its definitely going really well for you, is your final yield? What was your grow like?

Sounds good, I'll make a desiccant chamber at some point. For now an extended period in front of the fan should work fine.

No this is not my final yield by any means. I usually pick the mushrooms as soon as the veil breaks. The 10.5 is just what I found was ready last night. I actually added a wet mushroom to the drying area with the others this morning. I'll post "success pictures" when I have more to show off.

I'm actually about to post another thread of my two fruiting chambers. Also I literally just now took my corn in coir "bulk" tray which is now in my fruiting chamber. Look for the thread in a few minutes.
