Uncolonized contaminated grains question??
    #15757945 - 02/03/12 09:10 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

So, I lost one of my bags of grains to wet spot bacteria.  The bag became contaminated before spores germinated (at least there was no signs of healthy mycelium).I have read many posts of people taking either partially or fully colonized contaminated grains and burying them outside, and getting successful fruits.

My question is if it is possible to do this with these uncolonized grains?

I've never done it, but I'd imagine the mycelium would get their ass kicked before they could work on linking together.

I don't think it would do much good but it doesn't hurt to try.

Yeah this was basically my thinking that it couldn't hurt to try.  I just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone had done this with any success.  If so I'd take the time to add some coir or poo as well.

BTW... That pic in your sig is great!

Man thought for sure someone would have some experience or knowledge pertaining to this?
