Help me understand Bags

Ok... i am a little bit confused so help set me straight
I am interested in doing some bags for in vitro fruiting method
I have some PF tek cakes going but I have some more spores
So I bought two premade bags from Mad Season and some empty spawn bags as well.. By the way... Kudos to Mad Season... Top notch folks to deal with!
So I scored a pressure cooker on craigslist so i can sterilize the bags
I have already inoculated the two premade bags
My confusion is this....
Looking at bag formulas and such... Like i found Wronguy recipe.. it say you have to use LC.. but the Mad Season bags said to use spores..
What makes the difference between when you have to use LC and when you can use spore.. sorry if this is a stupid question..but i am just getting started and am quite overwhelmed with information
Thanks

Both spores or LC could work fine but the spores will take a lot longer to grow through the bag and more time can lead to more problems with contams. An LC (assuming it is contam free) can be inoculated in larger amounts and seeing that the myc is already up and growing well it will fully grow through the bag in far less time. Personally if i am starting new spores i will use a grain jar (half to 1 quartt, or inject into a liquid culture to get them off to a good start) and once i have a healthy culture use that to propagate more myc (grain to grain or grain LC tec) as i have always had a few problems shooting spores straight to bags (that could just be my problem though as i have certainly seen others do fine with that method) Best of luck in your grow. A multispore syringe has spores in it, after you inoculate you have to wait for it to germinate. A LC there is no germination, it's a live culture inside the syringe so you can just inoculate and it'll start colonizing almost right away.
I'm not sure if you can buy LC though, I think it might be illegal because it's live mycelium but not 100%.
Also, mad season pre-made bags are already sterilized. If you're talking about these. http://themadseason.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=17
Here's the instructions http://themadseason.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=2&chapter=1
However, for greater yields it's recommended that after full colonization when you start pinning that you open the bag once in awhile to allow FAE (fresh air exchange), maybe fanning it out a bit, and if the substrate it becoming dry you can mist it then re-seal it.
Or you can spawn to bulk and increase your yields. (There are tutorials around involving spawning cakes to bulk but with bags basically the same exact process) A good one is Damion5050 a member recommended me last night, pretty straight forward.
Hope that helps a little, I'm kinda a newb to growing too.

LC or Spores, it doesn't make a difference only in time to colonize.
If you used the spores, make sure to shake up the bag after you see some good growth. Mix up the bag VERY well and shake everything around so as much un-colonized grain can touch the colonized grain (inoculation points)
You should see very rapid growth from all areas of bag after the shake.
If you use a liquid culture, you can shake everything up right away and watch the whole bag colonize at once. With spores, they have to start growing before you can shake, otherwise there's a good chance you wont see any growth

I have FINALLY written up a couple teks as to how SHP has done things in the past. DISCLAIMER: This is not for the newbie to mycology, and not going to work for everyone! This is simply what works for one person when other teks and methods have failed miserably!
