Will Freezing Cobweb Kill it?

Hey guys!
I recently ended up with cobweb. So I am standing there thinking, okay! Lets put on my shoes and hate nature while I toss this box of manure with cobweb back to earths loving compost. But then I had a thought, I have in my hand cobweb. Cobweb likes wet stanky air and whats the opposite of wet stanky air? Freezing cold alaska air. SO I thought; hey why not do this. Why not freeze dry to death the cobweb, just for the sake of getting even. Lets do that. So off I go into the room with the freezer and in she goes! Now that takes care of that! KD vs. Cobweb.
What do you think, will it work, or will it work!:P

the opposite of wet stanky air would be dry freezing air.
theorically it'd work, though I lean toward the conclusion that your freezer isn't cold enough to also kill dormant spores. better stick to bleach and avoid to carry around contams as this spreads them even more.

IM not opening that container at all. Its not a large infestation and from what I can see the growth rate is really slow. I just felt like taking out some revenge:P Ill boil the damn thing before I toss it.
I suspect our entire house is full of cobweb. Last time we broke down a old ventilation shaft made of asbestos we found a dead rat...:P

I bet my house is full of Cobweb already. I have never seen Trichoderma, except once. In all my experience, Cobweb colonized un-sterilized substrates that were left in too high temperatures for too long. I have never seen it in any of my BRF cakes or otherwise. It seems to be a occasional mold...

I guarantee there is already enough cobweb in your house to cause contamination. Really you shouldn't run into it if you have a decent amount of air flow through your fruiting chamber. The only times I've seen it on cakes was in a completely sealed fruiting environment which must of had nearly still air most the time.

This cobweb was spotted in a growbox recently inoculated...

I doubt freezing will have much effect on it. Generally freezing molds and mildew will make them go dormant and they will start growing again as soon as the temperature is warm enough.
