I believe there was a test done recently on lights. all of them were almost exactly the same. so i would go with the cheapest and coolest of them being the flourescents, they have gro bulbs which are extremely cheap and efficient.

Goodness. You sure do love question marks and exclamation points, don't you?

Mushrooms do not receive any benefit from light other than letting it know which way to grow. Knowing this, use any white light you'd like.

^^ditto people-hehe. and remember that what you are trying to do with your light is imitate nature. so if you are buying a light than get a full spectrum "sun copier". but an incandescent 20w light off a trouble light gives perfect pinsets and more pins than neccessary on pf casings-it works fine is what im saying.
