Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

You can dry them out and make tea out of them.
Not sure about scoring them fter they've been chopped down, my guess would be yes.
Why not just give it a try and find out?

warning to all: just because a poppy spews latex doesn't confirm or deny that it's a Opium poppy. I wouldn't even consider spewing any form of latex from any poppy when trying to make an id.
