I need to find a tek for bulk grow using brf. I have looked and looked and can not find a easy to follow guide. From what I understand you 1. crumble cakes 2. mix with coir 3. place into tub and let spread 4. This is where im lost. After you have your substrate mixed with the crumbled cakes colonizing in a tub do you simply leave it in that tub? or transfer into a new tub and then apply the casing layer?
I just need the steps to take or a point in the right direction.

You can use crumbled cakes in any bulk tek in replacement for whatever spawn it calls for, quart for quart.
Keep in mind that ~4 colonized cakes equals ~1 quart of spawn.

Use a cheese grader to break it apart and you got some spawn. Gotta pasteurize that sub before you spawn to it.

ya, def don't use a a bulk tek that calls it "casing." if they can't even get the terminology right, what else might be wrong in their tek?

Grain is cheaper in the long run and being able to do g2g will save you time in the long run.

yield on bulk tubs is generally more, yeah. how much more, would depend though... like how many cakes versus how big a tub, etc... but they are def better. the larger the substrate, the larger the carbon bank is for mushroom fruitbodies to withdrawl from. i think tubs generally see larger size fruits as well, but i've grown some monsters on cakes as well.
