Grow chamber idea

Hey guys i work at a pet store and as i was unloading one of the shipments i saw one of these.
http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/incubator.php
Now i have not tried growing shrooms yet but i did just order some spores and am about to give it a whirl. But from alot that i have been reading people say climate control is key. So do you think this would be a decent thing to use to grow shrooms? Please give me your thoughts and any ideas you have. The only thing that concerns me is that there might not be any fans or air exchange on it? leme know what you think!

that thing is neat probably a bit overkill for the space you get. I would like to have one though my local wild strain I have been trying to fruit for a few summers now. they require 50-60°F to fruit

Kinda small... and I dont think that you'll be able to provide FAE or a high enough RH.
Looks pretty cool, but I think you'd be better off building a small martha type setup... ESPECIALLY since you work at a pet store!!!

Im sorry im a newbie but what does RH mean? Im thinking it would be perfect if it was a tad bit bigger. Also i am thinking of some ways to make a bin but there are things used for reptiles that are foggers but are used for misting the animal and keeping things wet. Think that is a good idea because it would produce a very small drop of water and it would be applied with no spraying just fog really?
Also what do you mean by martha style you saying just make something up?

LOL, no a "Martha" is a greenhouse of sorts that starts off it's life as a "martha stewart closet", a free standing and covered frame that you can put shelves and a humidifier into.
"RH" stands for relative humidity.
The concern is that you would not be able to keep RH high enough in that unit, and if you can then you may well shorten it's life.
Do get a "repti-fogger" at cost if you can! Then get one of these (which are the "martha" part).
Helltick wrote up the process about as well as could be. Here
Good luck,

It would work for incubating your jars but that usually isn't necessary as long as your house isn't freezing cold.

Personally, I think it is a bit small. Also, probably overkill unless you are rich and have nothing better to spend your money on. Room temp is fine for colonizing all the way down to around 65 deg. F. I have seen some posts where people say they let it get as cold as 50 Deg F. Same goes for fruiting. Colder temps means it may colonize a little slower, but I hear it makes for denser fruits. I started out using a Tub in Tub(TiT) incubator but abandoned that and now just leave the jars on a shelf in my kitchen. Plus the mycelium needs some ambient light as well. Would probably not get much light in that oversized egg cooker.

Why not spend that $150+ dollars on some pot, and put your trays/jars to colonize in a cupboard or on a shelf...

You'll be growing mushrooms like a champ, pin-porn every time!! You want to create a micro climate for the mushrooms sealed of from the rest of your environment using the filter disc's.
And use no casing layer, you'll be better off without.
If you don't get pin-porn everytime even from multispore then something is totally wrong with your grow chamber.

Ok, English is not my native language. But what did you not understand?
The statement that "If you don't get pin-porn every time even from multispore then something is totally wrong with your grow chamber" is actually true ... mark my words!

I need to be secretive about it im thinking i construct a plexi glass chamber with alot of holes the repti fogger hooked up to it and also design a fan for it good idea bad idea. Possibly use a heating pad if i need more humudity and temp.
