beard trimmer for body hair?

thinking about purchasing a beard trimmer for use on my body hair.  anyone do this successfully or does it tug too much?

I use an old Wahl clipper for manscaping when I feel it's needed.

It came with a bunch of guards to go over it, most of which are too long than I prefer, but there's one that's the perfect size. I'd recommend one of those.

I would suggest the following for best results:

step 1) beard trimmer will get rid of most of the length and leave stubble

step 2) razor blade will get rid of stubble.


i don't recommend trying to shave long thick hair with a razor, it'll keep getting clogged

Go to target and there are several brands of "body trimmers".

Basically, they consist of a very wide "beard trimmer/sideburn shaver" blade, with a "foil" in the middle.  I'm much more comfortable with a foil against my junk than an actual razor.  For other areas, the stubble blade is much faster.

I just use regular hair clippers with no attachment on it.
