My friend just got a ton of magic chocolates from some great guys up in Burlington...he's not to sure how many grams are in each chocolate...does anyone know what the usual amount of shrooms are in one $20 chocolate?

about 1.5-2g if they are small, like a heart or pumpkin. large tennis ball-sized ones sold at shows often contain 3.5g. of course, this will vary depending on who made it, so you never truly know unless you know who made them.

If there smaller (like size of bottle cap) then they probably have a gram in them. The bigger ones (The size of the botom of a drinking glass) have about 3 grams in them. You should be able to see peices of shroom in the choclate. If you do not then they probably have little mushrooms in it. All my choclates have 2 grams of aborts/mutants in them and go for 15$

LOL, the shrooms should be dried and grinded into powder and mixed in with the chocolate. There shouldn't be visible pieces in the chocolate. Wow, your dealer sucks.

it seems pretty obvious you have never made them yourself. No matter how much I grind down the mush; even into sandish like material, it is still visable in the choc ... it just looks like fine grain when you break open the chocolate and when you eat it , its still a little grainy

I ran across chocolate shrooms last night (good times!) They cost 12 bucks (odd price huh) & each had 1/8th. bout 1.5 inches wide, had a smiley face on it

Mushroom chocolates are great if you're a dealer.
I remember up at MSG for Phish in like '97 or '98 nobody knew what they were, and I was kicking a friend down one and a cop approached me and asked what I was giving him.
I said, "Homemade organic chocolate, want one?" - I then proceeded to stick one in his face.
He kindly said, "No thanks."
That was fun.

if you're dealing you could probably cheap ppl by putting 3 grams instead of 3.5 and they probably wouldn't know the difference.

Ive seen heart, bunny rabit, clover, stars, smiley faces, and others. They are usually marketed as having 3.5 grams in them. This is false. They have 2 grams in them or maybe less. The size of the entire chocalate is the size of a 3.5 pile of powdered P.Cubensis.... you do the math.

please forgive me if this question is lame, but can someone please share the precise measurements for mushroom chocolates? i've noticed this site's recipe does not contain measurements. i am attempting to make them for the first time. i really don't want to screw them up! thanks!

Theres no measurements. You just chop up your shrooms and mix with luke-warm choclate. Some choclate dosent solidify after its heated. Heat some and see if it turns hard again before making choclate.Yes I dry and grind my shrooms before I mix in the choclate. My choclates have visable peices of dry shrooms in them. You can see them on the outside as well as in. Just cause you get shitty choclates that have no shrooms in them you dont have to say my dealer sucks. My dealer is great because im my own dealer! I get a oz for 15$

lol! The only time I've had magic chocolates was in Burlington too! Are they popular there or something? I wonder if mine came from the same guy! They contained 1.5 grams per chocolate, but they were some pretty potent shrooms.

Damn! Someone give me a recipe! A very nice young lady gave me some chocolate shrooms in Glastonbury Festival last year and I (being greedy!) took far too many! Fuck, was I twisted! LOL Each one was the size of a chestnut and contained about 20 P. Semilanceata. I took 4 at once! Whew! That was a night and a half!

thanks for the info, resin. i'm a rookie at this, and am excited to whip up my first batch. can you reccomend a brand of chocolate and melting method that works well for you? also, if i grind an 1/8 of shroomies to divide among 12 people, would that be potent enough for everyone if each portion is the same size?

Yea man I get peanut butter flavored, and semi sweet choclate chips from the store. There the little mini hershey kiss lookin shits in a bag. They solidify well. Just put them in a bowl and nuke for a minute stirring halfway. Take bowl out stirr and put in a sink filled with luke-warm water. Stirr untill its kinda chunky and not at ALL hot on the finger. Keep stirring and it will get thinner. Put choclate in mold and stirr in peices of shroom. A grinder or sizzors work well. A colt 45 cap and foil work well for small ones, and foil over a shotglass works good for big ones. What kind of mushrooms are you using for the choclates? An 8th of cubensis is enough for 1 decent trip or 2 small trips. For 12 people to have a good trip you would need about 24-36 grams of cubensis.
