Can i fruit these quart jars still ?

Hey guys i have like 6 quarts of wbs that i put in drawer like 1 1/2 months ago when they were fully colonized . now i can see that there is some noticable small shrooms growing in a couple places in some jars against the glass . I was getting ready to just pour them out into a pan and case it to fruit but idk if i should .
I was thinking the shrooms in there right now might rot and cause contam if i dont just fruit it in jars
What do you think ?

The fruit bodies are mycelium, too. Break up the jar and spawn that bad boy.

NOT GOOD ADVICE!!!! Breaking up these fuitbodies with the spawn is putting little places that contamination is more likely to grow! Suggestion: Remove fruitbodies and pins the best possible(razor or knife,) THEN breakup. the longer it has been ,though, the myc/seed is harder to break apart without damaging the seed.

Heres the thing. When the myc runs through it actually covers the seed. if ur to rough with it u can expose the insides and competitor spores/myc have a chance to jump on. take ur time cleaning it of pins and othr fruitbodies. I personally would rinse the mass after cleaning and then dab dry with a paper towel. Then break up!

well they are in quart jars , kinda hard to clean or break up . really my only option is to fruit in jar or break them up and fruit them in pans if i can without contam .
I think i might try to use two quarts of this grain for fruiting and see if it contams . I can still make agar plates with a few grains from it .
Idk if they are fruits or not though , they are like brownish looking masses that seem to either be a fruit growing super smooshed on glass or sclerotia ( dont think i spelled that right lol ) .
then again it is albino penis envy so its kinda hard for me to tell whats a cap and wats not lol

the jars have been in dark colonized for about 45 days i just never poured them out as i had no room for them to fruit at the time.
because they were in dark for that amount of time and there was no contam and they were fully colonized this leads me to believe they may be sclerotia growth of some sort .

As long as everything is fully colonized, I can't see how the exposed mycelium would invite contamination, seeing that all of the grains are composed of exposed mycelium.
See this thread where I asked the same question about breaking up jars and spawning to bulk with invitro fruits.: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13414442#13414442
ProfessorPinhead approves of breaking up jars with invitro fruits. I think he's a trust worthy cultivator.

Nah, Use a bicycle tire and break it up as you normally would then spawn it to bulk. It will be fine.

BWHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA you guys are the mcshit lol
So i am going to put grain in pan and let it colonize into a big cake, once its colonized should i dunk it in water for a bit to rehydrate it ?
I know most are going to say to just spawn the grain but i dont have anything to spawn to atm and i have fruited this way before with just a simple casing of verm .

Why don't you try to spawn to bulk? It's pretty easy with Damion50's bucket coir tek.

I have done this, with success. I have also done this with success plus trichoderma xD
Keep in mind that your grains were probably triggered into fruiting mode a couple weeks ago, and started knotting then. I'm sure it could backfire. I would spawn to a relatively low ratio.
If you want to break the glass so you can fruit it like a brf cake, I would just chip away the top with a hammer.

ill break 2 up out of the 6 quarts and pour 2 quarts into a pan and cover till fully colonized then case with verm and see what happens . should be fine as long as cake gets fully colonized . I do this method all the time actually and have really good succces i just wasnt sure with these jars .
I should look into bulk more , i might try a small bulk grow to test the waters with coir . i do have like a whole brick of coir waiting to be used for spawn just never dove into those waters since i bought it a year ago lol
