You DO know how big the universe is, right? I do, but I still can't truly comprehend it. That's like walking on a huuuuge beach, picking up one grain of sand, and saying, "I really care about the organisms on this grain of sand. Just as long as two organism on it of the same sex don't fuck..." And even THAT'S a stretch, because even the biggest beach on earth vs. grains of sand can't compare to the extent of the entire universe.

It depends on how they define their religion. I'd say, if you call yourself a "CHRISTian", the truest way to go about that is to follow the teachings of Christ. Its been a while since I read the bible, but I don't recall Jesus condemning anyone's sexuality. If you read between the lines, its even quite possible he was boning Mary Magdalene, a prostitute.

God needs a reason to exist. hence dealing with us would... probably automatically veto God out of power.

Does this mean God is gay?
If there was a god, (which I personally doubt) then I would sincerely hope that he/she/it would love EVERYBODY.
If god can love, it can also hate everybody too with just as much passion as he supposedly loves. Though I think it's kind of pointless to try and personify it like that.

Well your analogy falls apart because organisms on a piece of sand don't have conciousness worthy of intervention like humanity. Of course god probably wouldn't care about bacteria on a grain of sand..but humans are more important(maybe lol).

I doubt we really are that important in the big picture, if anything that attitude of being more important than everything else is where a lot of out problems come from.

sand is a small piece of crystal and crystals are suppose to hold energy so maybe there is a conscious in them. and humans are just as tiny as sand. sand might seem the size of a planet to thinks that are the size of a hydrogen molecule

Yours just fell apart too... You're comparing bacterial consciousness to our consciousness, in light of an all knowing "god" whose "consciousness" should be off the charts in the grand scheme of things anyway, right? Or else "he" wouldn't be a god. I think humans just assume a god is like us but with super powers. A true GOD wouldn't give two shits and a fuck about something going on here on earth. It just doesn't make sense. You could argue, "well what's sense then if we're dealing with a god?" Well sense is in this case is thinking rationally about what we know of our current situation as humans vs the grand scheme of the universe, and it just doesn't add up. There are far more important things going on out there and I feel it in humanity's best interest to just quit the bullshit and just accept people for who they are.

i've argued this years ago, and no one could poke at this summation, so i repeat.
God needs a reason to exist. Period. otherwise "it" wouldn't exist.

Well I doubt god even exists. The universe didn't need a creator. It created itself.
