mycelium growth in water?

hey guys, i need some help. i dunked my cambodian cakes a couple days ago and for some reason i left the container filled with the water under my bed. i finally took it out today and i opened it to notice theres a piece of mycelium thats branching off in the water. it looks to be nice and healthy, and i'd hate to just throw it out. is there anything i can do with it? let me know ASAP so i can do something with it before it dies. it doesn't seem like it will last that long in a bucket of water. thanks...peace.

That's very odd. Perhaps some neutrally bouyant rice particles settled near the myc and hyphae actually did grow in the water. Well, something that ruthless should be saved. My recommendation would be to clone it by making a jar like from the honey tek, but short the water by a tablespoon and scoop out this myc with a tablespoon measure. Then you should have it in a proper growing medium.

EDIT: Right PooPs, it won't be very sanitary, but if you're really enthusiastic, you should be able to save it. You could try putting some H2O2 in the honey-water, since this is already alive or something.

not much use.. not clean enough to inject into another jar..

maybe pour it out into an outdoor patch.. with a few cakes..

otherwise....
