1997 starring Kevin Costner,it's an adaptation of a book but it's like Fallout the video game movie.
I was surprised to see how shitty the critics ratings of it were but read that it left a lot of the book material out. Anyway, watch this movie if you have the time/liked fallout

I looked up some critic reviews, Roger Ebert bitched a lot about the camera angles... I didn't give a fuck about camera angles in this film

Not the strongest actor, but I liked those movies well enough.

I forgot about that one! That was a great movie!
Ya know, I've probably watched Robin Hood over 50 times.

Dances with wolves is phenomonal, I would also recommend checking out JFK and thirteen days. He's excellent in both of those films.

The Postman is like five hours long (probably a bit less, but feels like five or more) and says nothing. Kevin Costner is a boring as fuck hack, even his good film (Dances with Wolves) is still way too long and empty. Maybe you'd argue that in these two cases, the length and boringness are meant to instill the feeling of a desolate wasteland inhabited by simple folks in touch with nature and the evil forces the threaten them, but we all know that's bullshit.
Also, speaking of talentless boring hacks, isn't Tom Petty in the postman? Hah.

I'll wager you don't know much about Tom Petty or the fact that he saved the entire record industry from corporate greed single-handed..
Worth investigating, anything but a hack.
My views on Costner are very mixed, I think JFK is a great movie though, and the only one that justifies it's epic length..

The road, excellent film and even better book. A must watch if you are a fan of post-apocolypse scenarios and genres.

Yeah, you're right. I know that his songs sound boring to me and that he has stupid-looking hair, that's about it to be honest.
Also his face weirds me out more than Roger Waters'. Reptilian?
