Trip Report (ongoing): My first experience with LSD.
    #1571107 - 05/23/03 02:44 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

Who: My close friend and I.
Where: My home, of course.
When:May 23, 2003. LSD ingested at around 2:00 AM EST.
What:What do you mean "what"?
Why:I can't really explain my friend's motive for experiencing LSD. I hope to experience truth, emotion, love, light, knowledge - anything that my mind is willing to accept. I am open.

It's kind of funny writing to everyone like this. I'm going to be trying to keep a sort of data log where I can record what is going on with my friend and myself throughout the night. This way, I will (hopefully) be able to look back at it and pin point what I was doing at what time. The whole idea is kind of ridiculous to me, yet severely necessary for some strange reason I can't name.

I can feel the drug starting to course through my body. No turning back.

Am I making a big deal out of this? No, just trying to have some fun while my friend watches Ed, Edd, & Eddie. Any comments or suggestions?

Everyone have a lovely night.

cool, keep us updated....i love to know how other peoples trips go.

I have always wanted to keep a notebook on me while tripping, not to keep a data log as such but to write down key events/discoveries of the night.

I have decided to abandon the whole data log idea unless I can find some paper to scrawl on. However, I will still attempt to keep you guys updated unless it becomes to mentally/physically/spiritually difficult to use my computer.

Being that the case, I will relay all I have learned and remembered some time tomorrow.

You may find it hard to type when you're tripping balls. Being around a computer or technology may make you uncomfortable later in the trip..if that happens just go outside and chill for a while..stare at the sky, will make you feel much better.

Hope you have a great enlightening trip and may you find many insights and revelations!

I am still here.

I think.

---------------
EDIT:

3:54 AM
I have been in guerrilla combat with my Felis cattus. I find it extremely difficult to type yet I'm somehow doing a pretty good job. In my enlightenment (although how shallow) I have learned absolutely nothing worthwhile about commercial advertisement that I wouldn't already loathe. I have although participated in exasperating giggling fits with me, myself, I, my friend and my cat of course.

I don't have any wise words of wisdom to leave.

5:00 AM
My friend and I decided we would venture outside. What an extraordinary idea. I can't really begin to form any synonyms befitting enough to describe what I felt. The terms bliss and euphoria don't quite distinguish whatever it was, but it was. We walked down my neighborhood listening to the birds sing nonchalantly while we walked for what seemed like (another overused word) eternity. Upon approaching my neighborhood pool and the playground we began to discuss the events which had lead us to such a mind-expanding experience.

I would provide more details, but...

6:17 AM
My mind is racing as I type this so I won't even try to come off as if I'm down. I'm most certainly anywhere but down. I managed to write some stuff on a few sheets of loose leaf notebook paper earlier in the night and also managed to write on myself a considerable amount. More later.

6:31 AM
"Things don't grow. They get fuller."

Perhaps some significant meaning behind the discovery of my companion upon looking at my bathroom flower wallpaper.

Heh, that's a really difficult point of view for some to see, but I understand what you mean.
Writing things down while you trip is fun, and useful. I remember one time I was at my buddies house, and all of a sudden at about 7 AM he was like "I want to write a story"
It didnt get very far, he fell asleep after 2 or 3 words, lol....

I'm now in a sound state of mind to further relay whatever happened last night. At one point, like noted above, I began to write down some stuff on a few sheets of paper. One piece of paper had a drawing of Pac-man while another says "Gary Larson (The Far Side) is an accomplice of God." I also have pretty patterns etched into my skin via ball-point pen. After my last entry, I recall us going to McDonalds. I wasn't exactly hungry but I thought experiencing McDonalds on a Friday morning (while tripping) would be an interesting concept.

Afterwards, while still having no sleep, we decided to go caving in some cool caves that we knew of. Mind you, we were not tripping (or were we?) when we did this. All in all it was a good experience. I did not exactly experience major hallucinations - I didn't really intend to. Although, I learned a great deal.

It was fun!

I used to love sitting in a cave with no light or sound... just me and the darkness.  I cannot imagine what it would be like tripping in Bat Cave down in the devils cauldrin... of course getting out would be a bitch... (the cauldrin was a bowl shaped room at the bottom of a fairly nasty climb...)

... brings back memories... BAM! thank you helmet... BAM! thank you helmet... BAM! thank you helmet...

Good thing you used a pen instead of a knife or blade of some sort, maybe look at the patterns if you havent washed them off yet? They might tell you something more about your trip, it'll be like looking at ancient egyptian carvings and stuff...
